About the rise and fall of the extreme alternative band Half Japanese. Starting with their early days, when Jad and David Fair taped their loud music in their bedroom, then sold it by mail order. Then David got married and the necessary adjustments had to be made to their cooperation. However, Jad's status among musicians and critics grew steadily. Featuring interviews with Jad, David, Maureen Tucker (Velvet Underground) and Penn Jillette, who produced one of their records.
