Grand Prix: The Killer Years plot
In the 1960s, technological progress provided an enormous performance boost in Formula 1. However, the safety provisions on and along circuits and in the racing cars remained at the old level: virtually nil. Death became the accepted fate of two-thirds of Grand Prix drivers, until they resisted it under the leadership of Jackie Stewart.
