Boss of Rawhide plot
A gang kills ranchers and hopes to quickly buy the widows' land. Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt, Jim Steele and Panhandle Perkins are sent to Rawhide to clear up the case. The three work in disguise and Tex is convinced that there will be several victims. So he convinces his father to run as a committee member so that he can interfere with the land allocations in the area. In that role, he meets Henry Colby, the most powerful landowner in the area. Colby is convinced that the settlers are the cause of all the problems. Then, during a meeting, Tex's father is shot.
