Northwest Territory plot

"GUN THUNDER ROCKS THE YUKON"

Fort McKenzie gold prospector Pop Kellogg is murdered by McBeau and Dawson just before his grandson Billy arrives. McBeau and Dawson want to get hold of the map that leads to where Pop found oil. Billy is escorted to Fort McKenzie by Corporal Rod Webb and his dog Chinook. Webb leaves Billy's care to Anne DuMere, who runs a trading post for owner Dan Morgan. After attempts on Billy's life, Rod and Anne suspect Morgan of having ties to McBeau and Dawson's gang.
