Somehow I really enjoyed this nonsensical video. The 3D effects (which I saw in 2D) were especially hilarious. Throwing a frisbee...wow! And dying man holding out his hand... brrrr!

The special effects looked very '80s and the atmosphere was nice and silly.

Really enjoyed this haunted house movie!

Better than parts 1 and 2. Amityville 3 is more consistent and maintains the mystery well throughout the film, so that the attention never wanes. Here too I found the characters more than pleasant, something this series always seems to do well. I also like the cheesy monster that suddenly appears. Nice sequel, which gives me hope for the parts to come.

Pretty nonsensical, but also very charming. This third part of this now heavily exhausted film series hits like a pair of pliers to a pig, but the visual interpretation of director Richard Fleischer can often be called quite funny. You can't exactly call a film like this very exciting anymore, but enough attempts are made to make the house somewhat threatening and that pays off. The choice of music is never too dominant, the structure is quiet enough and the location is well constructed. It doesn't take much more to pull off a classic haunted house event, plus I found many of the characters quite likeable (with the exception of a terribly overacting Tess Harper). Ultimately, the film looks a bit clumsy, the story is weak, far too many clichés are used and the finale makes absolutely no sense, but the cheese keeps the whole thing reasonably afloat.
