Coyote County Loser plot

"In the lonely American Southwest, life is slow for the desert inhabitants of Coyote County"

Jack Proctor, a popular Los Angeles radio DJ, is passing through and arriving in the desert town of Coyote County. He hears the local 'Dr. Love," Lauren Hartford, on the radio. In her program "Heart Smart" she gives people tips on how to get and keep a relationship. Disagreeing with her ideas, Jack decides to share his own vision of love with the listeners on-air. This leads to him being hired as a co-presenter with all the consequences that entails.
