The Lion Hunters plot
Bomba finds a wounded lion that dies a painful and slow death. The cause lies with a group of white traders who sell the captive animals to zoos. Tom Forbes, accompanied by his daughter Jean, travels downriver to join his business partner Marty Martin. Martin has already captured several animals and is ready to ship them. Bomba tries to free the captive animals and gets an ally in Jean Forbes who he manages to convince that the animals are better off in the wild. Martin doesn't just let himself be stopped and is willing to kill Bomba too if he gets in his way.
