A Cold Night's Death plot
Scientists Robert Jones (Robert Culp) and Frank Enari (Eli Wallach) arrive at a remote research lab in the Arctic to continue the work of their mysterious predecessor. They must conduct experiments on a group of super-intelligent monkeys to see how they cope with confinement, starvation, fear and cold. Over time, the two scientists develop a sense of seclusion. When strange events occur, the two scientists blame each other until they learn the horrifying truth.
