La Chouette Aveugle plot

H. is a 35-year-old Arab immigrant who works as a film operator in an old movie theater. One day, his attention is drawn to some music and he looks out the window of his projection booth, where he sees a dancer in a movie who seems to be looking him right in the eye. H. falls hopelessly in love with this charming lady, but after the short eye candy she seems to stop looking at him. A while later, a man storms into the projection booth and says that he is H.'s uncle. When H. wants to prepare food for him, he sees an image of the woman from the film on a bottle of oil...
