Delightful documentary that avoids all the classic paths of a biopic, that does not paint a psychological portrait supported by countless talking heads, and that disregards chronological biography.
Instead, a photographic and cinematic impression of trumpeter Chet Baker (director Bruce Weber is originally a photographer), a meandering web that does justice to Baker's playing and singing, and to his life as a charming junkie who winds women and men around his little fingers.
