Folge Deinem Herzen plot

Katrin (Christine Neubauer) was originally a doctor, but has been working as a researcher in the pharmaceutical industry for years. After fifteen years, she runs into her ex-boyfriend Max (Timothy Peach), and the two rediscover their love for each other. He persuades her to marry him and take up her original profession again. Katrin gives up everything and travels with Max and his two children to Namibia, where he has a makeshift hospital. When her husband dies in an accident, Katrin first wants to go home, but friend and vet Sam (Francis Fulton-Smith) persuades her to keep helping the poor people.
