"The manual of love has a new chapter."

A love story of three different couples, divided into three segments. "Giovinezza": Robert is a young ambitious lawyer who, in addition to his marriage to Sara, has an affair with the handsome and mysterious Micol. "Maturita": Fabio, a well-known TV host who has been married for 25 years, is overwhelmed by an unexpected but fatal encounter with the intriguing Eliana, who turns out not to be who she claims to be. "Oltre": Adrian (Robert de Niro) is a divorced American art history professor who decides to live in his ever-beloved city of Rome a few years after his divorce. Here he falls in love with Viola (Monica Bellucci), the daughter of the caretaker of the building where he lives.
