"Welcome to the honeymoon from hell."
The happy young couple Sarah and Tom get married against the wishes of Sarah's friends and family. They travel to Europe for their honeymoon. Sarah's parents send her ex Peter in the same direction with the aim of driving the two apart.

I couldn't make it with this movie. A shitty bunch of people, no chemistry between Kutcher and Murphy - at least I couldn't find it. And no humor that I could even remotely laugh at. To top it off, filmed ugly and without inspiration.

I can only say something positive about some of the supporting actors. And Venice of course. But otherwise Just Married is an annoying film with annoying actors/characters and mediocre humor. I sometimes think Kutcher is fine in quasi-serious roles, but here he can show his worst side again. Painfully unfunny and his hyperactive attitude quickly gets on his nerves.
Murphy is a fine actress who is still trying to make something out of it. Also very annoying and egocentric, but that is more due to the mediocre script than to her. Why here was chosen for a feel good ending, is a mystery to me. Kutcher and Murphy are just as good a match as Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike do at the end of Gone Girl.
