"SINGING ADVENTURE!"

Pennsylvania, circa 1870. Sally and her father Doc Waterson visit a Pennsylvania town with their medicine show. When their covered wagon catches fire, they cannot travel any further. Sally and Doc are taken in by grandmother Cortlandt and her grandson Peter. Peter tries to build an oil pipeline that will provide energy for the entire state of Pennsylvania. Sally and Peter soon fall in love and get married. However, neither Sally and Peter's marriage nor the construction of Peter's oil pipeline go smoothly.
