Girl Loves Boy plot

Playboy Bob is the son of the city's celebrity Charles Conrad. Much against his father's will, Bob falls in love with Dorothy McCarthy. Dorothy is the daughter of poor widow Mrs. McCarthy. At his father's urging, Bob marries divorced Sally Lace. Dorothy's heartbreak seems to come to an end when it turns out that Sally's divorce from her previous husband has never been officially pronounced.
