A group of adventurers plans to loot a gold mine in the heart of Guyana. But the operation doesn't go as planned, and when they want to leave, their helicopter crashes in the middle of the jungle. They have six hundred kilos of gold with them, but now they have to carry it on their backs in a particularly hostile environment. The loot becomes a heavy burden. The seven fugitives, five men and two women, penetrate deeper into the jungle. The climate, the insects, the fatigue, the threat of the pursuers... all this makes their long flight almost impossible. And then there's the gold rush that threatens to disrupt the togetherness...
