Grey Gardens plot
Documentary about Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edie, family of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Mother and daughter live in the dilapidated 28-room mansion "Grey Gardens" in East Hampton. Edith Beale is a true aristocrat, Edie was a promising, breathtakingly beautiful actress. They don't care about authorities. Both women are highly dependent on each other. David and Albert Maysles made a documentary about their eccentric lifestyle in the so-called direct cinema style.
