First Born plot

Scientist Edward (Charles Dance) is working on a genetic experiment for the US Department of Defense. He manages to fertilize a female gorilla with human sperm. In this way he hopes to create a new creature that possesses the intelligence of man and the strength of the ape. Indeed, a hybrid baby is born, showing more and more human traits as he grows up. Edward attaches himself to the creature, but then comes a terrible order: he must destroy it.
