Joaquín Murrieta plot
Mexican Joaquin Murrieta and his wife travel to California to search for gold. They find no gold there, but they do find a marshall with whom they befriend. Murrieta's wife is murdered by bandits and Murrieta herself is beaten up by the same gang. Murrieta takes revenge by forming a gang herself and organizes raids in the area. As a result, Murrieta gets the marshall he was first friends with after him.
