Tombstone Canyon plot
Passing through Tombstone canyon, Ken Maynard is aided by the mysterious "Phantom" when he is attacked by a mob. Ken finds a dead man moments later who could have told him the Phantom's true identity. The man was murdered by Alf Sykes. When the Phantom manages to kill one of Sykes' men, Sykes blames Ken. Ken is captured and freed by Sykes who shoots the sheriff in the act, putting the blame on Ken. Ken manages to escape and gets half the population of Tombstone after him.
