Annabel Takes a Tour plot
Sequel to 'The Affairs of Annabel' (1938). Actress Annabel Allison is the star of 'Wonder Pictures'. However, Annabel becomes frustrated with the lack of publicity she is getting, since a fellow actress is engaged to a Marquis. Annabel persuades studio director Howard Webb to hire disaffected PR man Lanny Morgan again to promote her new tour. Morgan, however, lets Annabel perform strange stunts again.
