Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) wants to be a mother and believes it takes too long to wait for the right man to be a father. She decides to be artificially fertilized. Just on the big day, she meets one Stan (Alex O'Loughlin), a man who just might be the one. In order not to scare him off, she decides to keep her pregnancy a secret.

An entertaining rombow with two very attractive protagonists, with a nice chemistry between them! Some pregnancy shots (especially childbirth images) were a bit less for me, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there were a number of funny parts in them and the film just looks nice.

Unfortunately, I thought it was just an average rom-com. The characters didn't really appeal to me. The opening scene was very strong. The way Zoe lay on the gynecologist's chair and the interaction with the doctor was very funny. Unfortunately, she doesn't manage to keep this up for the rest of the film, giving her a bit of a meaningless personality. And Stan didn't tell me much either. How lovely the man is.
The story doesn't offer much either. The relationship actually goes smoothly from the start and apart from a small break at the end , not much happens there. Very nice when a relationship goes well right away, but as a story in a movie it gets pretty boring. A bit of an exciting event or something like that would have made things a bit more interesting.
In itself it is not a dragon of a film, but I must honestly say that I have seen better romcoms.
