"WATCH ROY'S SMOKE!"

Rogers helps Gabby Whittaker when he needs financiers to operate his gold mine. Roy invites three key investors to ride with him. Gangster Harmon sees this as an extraordinary opportunity to earn easy money and kidnaps the three men. Harmon has staged a fake robbery before and with this footage Harmon convinces the sheriff that Roy Rogers kidnapped the three men.
