Vaaranam Aayiram plot

The elder Krishnan returns from the hairdresser, once home he begins to vomit considerable amounts of blood and goes into bed to rest. Shortly after the doctor examines him, he dies. At home, his wife Malini, his daughter and his daughter-in-law are sadly left behind. When his son Surya, who is a military man and remains in the army, hears the news, he bursts into tears. He thinks about the unforgettable moments he experienced with his father. We see young Krishnan as a student as he gets to know Malini. They fall in love, get married and soon have a son, Surya. As Surya grows up, a close friendship develops between him and his father. Later Surya leaves for a school in Tiruchi. On his return he meets a girl and not long after he asks her to marry him. She rejects him because they haven't known each other long enough. Surya, however, is determined to share his life with her.
