Holding Trevor plot

The young and intelligent Trevor has a problem; he has an unhealthy relationship with Darrell, a heroin addict who is in the process of destroying himself, and he also has a bad job. Trevor finds peace in Los Angeles where he meets Andie and Jake. While in the hospital after another drug overdose, Trevor meets Ephram, an ambitious intern. Trevor sees something in him. As they spend the evening together, Trevor realizes he has decisions to make. He ends his relationship with Darrell and decides to reconnect with Andie and Jake. The party that follows ends badly when Darrell shows up on the doorstep unannounced.
