Boston Blackie Booked on Suspicion plot

Former criminal, now private investigator, Horatio "Boston Blackie" Black gets into trouble when he helps a friend auction the first edition of a Charles Dickens book. This book turns out to be a forgery. Shortly afterwards, a murder takes place. Prime suspect Blackie must clear his name regarding this murder, but also prove that he has nothing to do with the book forgery.
