How does it exist? A rather unique top setting, an experienced director cum choreographer (Chicago), a handful of experienced screenwriters and such a dragon of a film. A mega flop.

Time for a musical again and tried this one. I thought it was going to be a kind of Moulin Rouge, but unfortunately it didn't turn out like this. Not really catchy songs and the story wasn't that compelling either. Only the song with Fergie (with that sand) really stood out and that was worth it. Too bad the rest was just so-so.

Many famous people, although it was mainly Marion Cotillard who stood out.

Visually it was still fine, black and white scenes interspersed with color.

I expected a little more from it. Not that he was really bad, but certainly not great either.

Mediocre film in which a famous director starts his new film without knowing what it is about. The film is set in Italy in the mid-1960s. Absolutely stylish portrayed with beautiful costumes. The musical numbers are too similar and this, in combination with the poor story, makes this a fairly long-winded film. Even the cast with a lot of female beauty does not manage to save this.
