"HE HAD PLENTY OF DOLLARS AND NO SENSE!"
Eddie Wilson Jr., who works on a tugboat in Brooklyn, is constantly bullied and humiliated by his tough stepfather and stepbrothers. One day Eddie inherits $77 million from his uncle, an Egyptologist. The artist Dot Clark is very interested in that legacy and she offers herself to Eddie as his "mother": the woman who adopted him. Dot's criminal brother Joe will then take out Eddie at the first opportunity.
