Steve Patrick is a Wyoming rancher who travels to Oregon with his foreman Bob Andrews to buy breeding bulls to raise livestock that can withstand the harsh Wyoming winters. What Steve does not know is that he is the target of a plot, hatched by his foreman Andrews, the outlaw Maddox and the corrupt businessman Joe Graycoe, to kill him and then steal his cattle.
