Terminator Salvation plot
"The End Begins."
The film is set in post-apocalyptic 2018. John Connor's destiny is to lead the rebellion against Skynet and her army of Terminators. The future he foresaw is changed by the arrival of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is sitting in a cell awaiting his death penalty. Connor must determine whether Marcus was sent from the future or saved from the past. Together they go to war against Skynet.

This part is the least of the 5. There is a very crucial and important element missing: Schwarzenegger. Although a look a like comes into the picture, its absence is often noticeable, and that is a shame.
Again a slightly lesser cast. Still top actors, but don't quite fit the bill. Story is less interesting to follow and the rude spectacle also remains. Obviously a big budget still put in.
Effects are still okay, but the elements are just missing. Too bad, because McG is not necessarily a bad director and sometimes wants to apply his own style.

Re-watched today
Not as we are used to with the Terminator films, here it goes more towards the sf. heading for this time with more robots, motorbikes and spaceships (with prisoners)
All in all, this one is certainly not bad, but if you look at all the Terminator parts, this is the least of the series and that's also because we miss certain famous names such as Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton.
Other than that, it was fairly easy to do and I did enjoy it.
