A Time for Killing plot
"Two violent men... and a violated woman!"
During the Civil War, Confederate soldiers escape a prison and head for the Mexican border. Along the way, they kill an enemy courier, who had a message saying that the war is over. The captain and his men keep this message a secret and soon find themselves in a fight with the enemy, who do not know that the war is over.

Harrison Ford's first credited film role. Actor George Hamilton was dating President Johnson's daughter at the time. As soon as she visited Hamilton on set, she was protected by the Secret Service.
