Brighton 1959. Private detective Tony Aaron specializes in 'rigged' adultery cases. He is not afraid to photograph his own wife in the company of his clients. One day he finds his wife and his last client, the famous painter Stasio, dead. Tony is questioned by the police, meets Stasio's widow, who is not mourning his death, and Stasio's mistress Angelina.
