The Golden Idol plot

"TERROR REVOLT SPLITS CONGO!"

Bomba, the jungle boy and animal protector, owns the "Lost Idol of Watusi", a valuable archaeological treasure. The murderous Arab prince Ali Ben Mamoud hires the equally unscrupulous Joe Hawkins to steal the treasure. British museum scientist Karen Marsh and the speculator Andy Barnes with his porters Eli and Ezekiel are also looking for the treasure, Hawkins and his assistant Gomo plan to trick Mamoud by keeping the treasure for themselves. However, the treasure hunters' plans take a different turn when Bomba springs into action .
