The Desert Song plot

"The best loved of all musical adventures!"

Paul Hudson is an American veteran of the Spanish Civil War who plays the piano in a Moroccan nightclub and in his spare time tries to hook up with the club's singer, Margot. Caid Yousseff is a Moroccan who teams up with the Nazis to take control of a local people, the Riffs. The Riffs themselves try to gain independence from France and fight the Nazis in return. Interests and identities soon begin to intertwine.
