Castle in the Desert plot

Paul Manderley, eccentric historian, and his wife live in an isolated castle-like home in the Mojave Desert. When a guest suddenly collapses, Charlie Chan is asked to stop by. After all communication with the outside world stops, it turns out that someone has access to various poisons and is willing to use them.
