The Hanged Man plot

"They left him for dead ... but they were wrong ... dead wrong !"

After the death row inmate James Devlin survives the gallows, he is suddenly able to read the minds of others. In an effort to improve his life, he wants to use his gift to help the needy. He meets the young widow Carrie Gault who is threatened by a greedy mine baron.
