Nice film-noir movie that is easy to watch because of its short running time.

Fun for a one-time viewing, but otherwise nothing special. Michael O'Shea in the bad guy role was clearly the standout, but the story itself lacked substance, and the tension could have been a bit more intense at times.

2.5*

Michael O'Shea is quite convincing as a maniacal killer who manages to escape from prison and tries to flee abroad through a hostage situation, the atmosphere is quite intense and the short running time is more than enough and the film has a lot of pace.

The story is of course very simple, but because of Michael O'Shea's acting it is never boring, you never know what he is going to do and that makes the film unpredictable and exciting.
