A young girl, who has just spent an afternoon playing tennis with her boyfriend, is nearly hit by a truck and comes off the main road. She ends up on a dirty, dead end road and gets stuck in a ditch. But then she is terrorized by a madman, who breeds a colony of rats and gives her a real nightmare.
