Jack Conrad (Steve Austin) is on death row in a corrupt prison somewhere in Central America. Then suddenly an opportunity arises to avoid his punishment: a wealthy television producer has selected him to participate in an exciting reality TV show. The corrupt prison leadership is simply bribed. He is dropped on a deserted island somewhere in the ocean. There, a deadly fate awaits him: he must fight to the death with nine other inmates. Only those who remain will regain their freedom.

Fairly standard (fight) action movie, but still quite entertaining, flop into the seat, snacks and booze and mind to zero. Nothing more needs to be said about this.

A pleasant surprise this action film. If you like the older films by Schwarzenegger and Stallone, then you will have a great time with this one. Great action, great actors and technically the film is very well put together, everything you expect from these kinds of films. The actors are well cast Vinnie Jones plays a maniac with verve and ex-wrestler Steve Austin is cut as a sympathetic hero. The theme of a fight to the death is not unique, here it is well worked out with even a norms and values issue.
