"Lives will be broken"
Neil and Abby Warner have a good and happy life. Together with their daughter Sophie, they lead a pleasant and carefree life. Their lives change completely when Sophie is kidnapped. Desperate, they decide to follow the orders of the kidnapper (Pierce Brosnan) in order to get their daughter back. However, they lose heart when it becomes clear that the man is a psychopath with nothing to lose.

Great movie with some great twists. I had the feeling all along that something wasn't quite right with Tom (Brosnan), but I wasn't expecting this outcome. Fortunately for the twist it is also a strong film, and director Barker knows how to keep the tension until the end. Brosnan, Bello and Butler do well, and especially the ending helps you understand Tom a little better. Going weird, people never do.

Grrr... doesn't happen to me often, but I didn't quite see the end of the movie coming. Despite Brosnan's terrible accent and the apparently simple plot, I still have to give it a good pass. I love being surprised in a movie. *3.5
