Reasonable.

The first hour is quite strong because Early can still be considered more or less a friend. The relationship between Carrie and Adele also makes for a strong scene, but towards the end things go awry when Early (too quickly) goes all the way to the bad side. What follows is a fairly standard piece of film with no surprises. I would have liked a unhappy end.

Brad Pitt is enjoyable, but gives his role just too many tics to be credible. David Duchovny and his wife are decent but replaceable and that's why I enjoyed Juliette Lewis the most - her acting then, her part is just not well written enough to really cut it.

Dominic Sena Gives Kalifornia - Why That 'K' Anyway? - quite a bit of flair. The loose road movie atmosphere is alternated on time and by a peculiar psychoshot of Pitt. Only with the climax can he not distinguish himself.
