Somewhere on a small Antillean island a treasure is hidden. A group of individuals of different origins, including a vicious one-legged pirate without a map and without a boat, a roguish religious baroness without scruples but with a boat, a young man with great courage and little brain and with a map sunk somewhere far away in his memory and a drunk surgeon who has knowledge of diseases such as amnesia are going on a boat trip together. However, each of them harbors the secret ambition to be the first and only to loot the treasure.
