In this documentary Tom Hanks tells about the life and work of war photographers in the Second World War. They literally work in a life-and-death struggle. First-class, quite confrontational documentary about the life and work of war photographers in the Second World War. Fascinating interviews are interspersed with great, albeit often very grim archive footage, which remain on the retina for a long time. Produced by Steven Spielberg and featuring an excellent voiceover by Tom Hanks, who also occasionally walks into the picture, sporting an atypical, rather bizarre-looking beard. It is no coincidence that most of the subjects from the documentary are also covered in the Band Of Brothers series, also produced by the above duo.
