Revenge of the Pink Panther plot
"Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the movies..."
The fifth and final in the Pink Panther series during the lifetime of Peter Sellers. The sixth part was made after his death with old fragments. Philippe Douvier wants to show that he still has enough power and decides to kill Inspector Clouseau. After it is announced that Clouseau has been murdered, Chief Inspector Dreyfuss feels much better. He is therefore released from the psychiatric institute. Inspector Clouseau, who is actually still alive, tries to take advantage of the situation and goes undercover in search of his killer.

Besides a few funny situations and especially sayings, a lot of throwing and throwing. That's the Pink-Panther trend that was set long before this "Revenge".

The first 2 are great, 3 & 4 very nice. This one is clearly one step less. Still, there are some nice moments in it and even a few scenes that are actually no less. Still a fun series, although I fear that the cake is now over. 3 stars.

A little too serious again. It is that some scenes are greatly exaggerated and the story is a bit over the top, but the chemistry is clearly less. Still, there are some fantastic scenes in this and the relationship Clouseau vs. Dreyfus great again. The highlight is surely the moment when Clouseau returns home after his supposed death and Cato has converted it into a Chinese whorehouse, Goddammit, I had to laugh. The main plot itself is a bit ordinary. Sellers has its moments, but it's all a bit too much of a good thing. So far I think this is better than the first two.
