"The Screen's Newest Action-Singing Sensation as a Two-Fisted Sea Ranger Who Loved to Fight and Fought to Love."

Bill Jones (George Houston), captain of the schooner Marigold, is known for his excesses, both in fighting and merry wantonness. When he is shipwrecked on the island of Quica, his boat has to be repaired at the dock in the harbor. After receiving a gold coin from a passenger, he uses it to buy from a merchant, who believes Jones has found some treasure. He soon has a horde of pirates and treasure hunters after him.
