Idd a nice film, perhaps more interesting for people who are actually in this age group.

That Rachel Bilson (never heard of it) is a bit too nice a girl for this role, I caught myself thinking it was perfectly plausible that the main character ran off with her .

Growing up, choosing between love or relationship, the fear of being trapped, the grass that is always greener. All fairly well-known topics in the genre, so far nothing new. But this film does it very well - although the characters also remain a bit on the flat side, and it is sometimes a bit of searching for what their motives would have been. Until about three quarters it is still interesting, after that an easy way out to the end is chosen - it doesn't really do it for me.

Rachel Bilson steals the show somewhat with her rather unbelievably naive role, but hey, she gets away with that. And well, yes, there really are such girls, that's also true.

Usually these kind of movies are not my thing, but just watched it anyway, because I already know the other movies that came on TV today.

I was positively surprised, even though the fuss surrounding Braff's early midlife crisis isn't enough to fill the playtime. The creators have effectively solved this by wrapping another diverse number of subplots around the quad circle involved.

(Family) relationships are at the root of the problems that the various characters experience. In particular, the subplots surrounding Kimmy's parents and the divorce of the couple with the child came across well.

Add to that the fact that Bilson still regularly hops through the screen as a ferociously attractive student and we have a successful evening of TV entertainment.

Pretty fun for once.
