Paris Catalano (Christopher Plummer), an expert on vampires, is invited by the beautiful Helietta (Barbara De Rossi) to her palace in the middle of the historic city of Venice. According to legend, the palace was visited by the vampire Nosferatu (Klaus Kinski), who would have bitten an ancestor of Helietta and then disappeared without a trace.
