When Jazz musician Jimmy Logan discovers Wanda Reed's body one day, his life begins to unravel. He soon remembers that she was the woman at a party, who was raped by three guests. In Rio, Jimmy discovers that Wanda is still alive. He now refuses to leave Wanda, thinking he has been given a second chance. Has Jimmy found his happiness or will his obsession mean his death?
