Ripley under Ground plot
Smooth Tom Ripley finds himself in the London art scene after a friend of his, a promising young artist, dies. Ripley hides his death from the world and continues to market art from the dead artist through counterfeits for a lot of money. This is complicated by an art connoisseur who notices the forgeries and the police looking for the apparently missing artist.
