Le Couple Témoin plot
In this science-fiction farce, the French Ministry of the Future tries to find out what the life of an average French couple will be like in the 21st century, how to program and manipulate it. Officials install the quintessential French couple in an experimental apartment in a new city that is still under construction. It is subjected to an absurd and sinister program. Day and night, the movements, conversations, dreams, digestion, boredom, quarrels, love lives of Mr. and Mrs. are analyzed and stored in computers. At first, the couple sees the experiment as a game with themselves as stars. But before long, things start to go horribly wrong... and the pair rebel against their situation.
